Making a Difference

Every one desires to make a difference.  Sometimes it can be a challenge to determine in what area or exactly how to make a difference.  Being a part of the Alumni Association is one way every alumnus can make a difference.  There are several ways that this can be accomplished.

First and most obviously is financially.  A large portion of the membership dues go towards the Christmas bonuses that the faculty receive.  This is only a small part of our gratitude for the faculty; but it certainly makes a difference.  A second way the Alumni Association is making a difference is by staying connected with other graduates.  It is easy to lose touch with people after graduation.  However, thanks to the Alumni Association, it is much easier to keep in touch with your former classmates.  Another way to make a difference is to keep in touch with the current students.  I remember in Bible College the times some alumni would encourage me while on campus.  Each time they were a blessing!  You know have the same opportunity to encourage current students each and every time you return to the campus.  You’ll never know just how much a word of encouragement can mean to someone.  Determine today to start making a difference through the Alumni Association.
